Once Saved by Christ,

Saved Forever

(or An Effectual Atonement)

If Christ once suffered for our sins to bring us to God, then you were also

once brought unto God. And just as Christ needeth not to suffer any more

for sins, how sayeth many this suffering of Christ was not effectual to bring
you unto God forever? If once brought unto God, are you not in His hands

and care?

Is God so negligent so as to lose

any of His once redeemed sheep?

Such a proposition denies the work of Christ who once

died to put away sins by the sacrifice of himself,

which he did and which cannot be undone without un-
doing Jesus Christ as our once, only and always

Savior.

Do not dishonor Christ and His work by supposing His sufferings did not

positively and certainly save His people from their sins. It was once done,

and done forever. Be not of uncertain opinion on this point: Christ either

saved and it was completed once and forever or it was never done at all. In

this, Jesus is the once, only and always Savior.

There is great peace, hope, and

happiness in being persuaded of this.
